These strategies may include securing patents, trademarks, copyrights, or other trade secret protections, monitoring for potential unauthorized use, and litigating as needed to secure control over contested intellectual property. Many of our attorneys have science backgrounds, including degrees in chemistry, biology, and engineering, which help us to understand how intellectual property is utilized in our clients’ operations. We also assist clients in providing and obtaining access to intellectual property through licensing agreements, joint ventures, strategic partnerships, and other arrangements.
