We are committed to serving the communities in which we live, work and play. Each year, we volunteer countless hours to professional and charitable organizations as well as provide much needed sponsorship funds. Our attorneys and staff support organizations ranging from local, state and national bar and professional associations, to public and private schools, neighborhood associations, social service groups, religious groups, art and other cultural organizations, and other non-profit groups in Central Indiana and South Bend. Our attorneys also serve as adjunct professors to local universities. We dedicate substantial time and funds to pro bono work to help those with limited means gain access to much needed legal services.
One charity we are especially proud to support is the ALS Association of Indiana, in honor of one of our founding partners, friend and colleague, Sue Shadley. In 2014, Sue was diagnosed with ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease. Just as with the law, she became an advocate in fighting this disease in order to improve the lives of others, working with the ALS Association of Indiana to raise funds for the Nutrition Supplement, Respite and Loan Equipment Closet Programs. Each year, the firm makes a contribution to the ALS Association of Indiana in Sue’s honor.
Giving back to our community is an integral part of our firm’s rich and diverse culture.
