Plews Shadley Racher & Braun LLP (PSRB) has been named to the Best Lawyers 2023 “Best Law Firms” list. U.S. News & World Report and Best Lawyers released the rankings November 3, 2022. PSRB received the highest ranking, Tier 1, in the Indianapolis Metropolitan area in the categories of Environmental Law, Insurance Law, Litigation – Environmental, and Litigation – Insurance. PSRB also received a Tier 1 ranking in the South Bend Metropolitan area in the category of Litigation – Environmental, and a Tier 2 ranking in the Indianapolis Metropolitan area in the categories of Commercial Litigation and Real Estate Law.

The firms included on the list are recognized for professional excellence, quality legal work, and persistently impressive ratings from clients and peers. The rankings are based on a rigorous evaluation process that includes client and lawyer evaluations, peer review from leading attorneys, and a review of additional information submitted by the law firms. A tiered ranking signals a combination of quality law practice and breadth of legal experience.

The 2023 rankings are based on a record high number of participating firms and client votes ever received. To be eligible for a ranking, a firm must have a lawyer recognized first in The Best Lawyers in America, which recognizes the top five percent of practicing attorneys in the U.S. Over 16,000 lawyers provided more than 1,125,000 law firm assessments, and almost 12,000 clients provided more than 107,000 evaluations.
