Chris Braun was one of three national speakers recently selected to present material in a 90-minute webinar entitled Environmental Risk Management: Principles and Applications hosted by The Knowledge Group.  His presentation focused on the key fundamental steps of environmental cleanups, with an emphasis of developing strategies for funding environmental investigations and cleanups and third-party claims.  His presentation addressed the individual and combined roles that private CGL insurance policies and the State of Indiana’s Excess Liability Trust Fund (ELTF) can play in providing the necessary environmental funding to achieve cleanups in a timely, cost-effective manner, thereby avoiding and/or reducing the need for protracted litigation.  He discussed the positive impact that such strategies have had in successfully funding the remediation of more than 4,300 environmentally impacted sites in Indiana.  The presentation is attached for your review.  If you have any questions regarding this topic or the presentation do not hesitate to contact Chris.
