Fernando Diaz Joins PSRB as an Associate Attorney
Plews Shadley Racher & Braun LLP (PSRB) is pleased to announce Fernando L. Diaz has joined the firm as an associate attorney. Diaz, who served as a law clerk at PSRB prior to joining the firm as an attorney, focuses his practice in a variety of areas including environmental litigation, complex litigation, insurance coverage, product liability, and class action litigation. Diaz has also worked with businesses and individuals regarding environmental regulatory matters and business economic loss claims.
Diaz, who is fluent in two languages (English and Spanish), received his B.A. degree from the University of Florida in 2010. He received his J.D., cum laude, in 2016 from the University of Illinois College of Law. During his time in law school, Diaz interned for Judge Mary M. Rowland at the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. He also was a production editor for the Journal of Law, Technology & Policy. Prior to attending law school, Fernando was the business development manager at a mass-tort litigation firm where he worked closely with businesses, chambers of commerce, and forensic accountants to recover lost profits relating to the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill of 2010.
