Shelley M. Jackson concentrates her practice in the areas of insurance coverage, complex litigation, and administrative adjudication. She earned her law degree in 2007 from Indiana University School of Law - Indianapolis and her Master of Education degree from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2001. In May 2010, Shelley was selected as an Up and Coming Lawyer as part of Indiana Lawyer's Leadership in Law awards. In addition, Shelley received the Indianapolis Bar Association's Board of Directors Award in 2008 for her work as a member of the IBA's Diversity Task Force, and she was honored as a 2007 YWCA Women in Leadership nominee. Prior to attending law school, Shelley taught high school English for seven years and worked with a cohort of educators to develop and implement an academic support program to assist at-risk students. With her strong background in public education and her passionate belief in literacy as a building block for future student success, Shelley remains involved in the local community and enjoys opportunities to advocate on behalf of students and educators.
