Stephanie T. Eckerle focuses her practice on business services, healthcare, commercial real estate and environmental counseling and litigation.  Stephanie frequently assists clients with a variety of business and real estate issues, including entity formation, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance issues, trademark issues, the purchase and sale of commercial and industrial real estate and commercial leases.  Stephanie has also represented both lenders and borrowers in a variety of real estate and business financing matters.  

Stephanie also represents a wide variety of healthcare industry clients in transactions, regulatory and litigation matters.  She strives to ensure that her clients are in compliance with the ever-changing, highly complex state and federal healthcare laws in a timely, cost-effective manner.  Stephanie is also experienced in analyzing business opportunities for her clients and evaluating the risk of litigation when challenges and disputes arise.  

Stephanie received her B.A. degree in political science from Baylor University in 2004 and her J.D., magna cum laude, from Indiana University School of Law-Indianapolis in 2007.  While in law school, Stephanie was an articles editor for the Indiana Law Review and authored “Three Strikes You’re Out: The Effects and Controversies of the SEC’s Attempted Mandate for Greater Independence on Mutual Fund Boards,” Indiana Law Review, Volume 40, Issue 1 (2007).  Among other community activities, Stephanie is a member of the Junior League of Indianapolis, is the 2012 Chair of the Indianapolis Bar Association’s Young Lawyer’s Division and is on the Board of Directors of the Indianapolis Bar Association and is a member of the Board of Directors of Project Home Indy.  In 2010, Stephanie was the recipient of the Indiana Lawyer’s Up and Coming Lawyer award.
