Peter Racher has published the article “Significant Environmental Cases Affecting Land Use.” It focuses on three seminal land use cases from the early 1970s and explains their historical background. The three featured cases are Citizens to Preserve Overton Park v. Volpe, 401 U.S. 402 (1971), Calvert Cliffs’ Coordinating Committee, Inc. v. United States Atomic Energy Commission 449 F.2d 1109 at 1111 (D.C. Cir. 1971), and Just v. Marinette County, 201 N.W.2d 761 (Wis. 1972).
